In the PreCrumbrian age, the ancestor of E.C. Comics published the 232 page "Picture Stories from the Bible - Complete Old Testament Edition" (1943).
"Adventures Inside the Atom: The Story of Nuclear Power" was published in 1948 by the General Electric Company, Public Relations, Dept. 2-119.
Comic Book Cartography's dad would have been 12 when he acquired the copy we scanned, possibly at school. The comic wrestles atom splitting away from the bomb and slots it into the post-war parade of progress and prosperity.
